The two condominium buildings, The K and The L, were designed by the national award-winning architectural firm of Torti Gallas and Partners, and the apartment building, The V, was designed in a joint collaboration of Michael Marshall Architecture and Torti Gallas and Partners.

The L
Situated mid-block on L Street, NW, The L presents a narrower and more intimate façade to the street, giving the building a vertical emphasis. The verticality is enhanced at the skyline with an overhanging roof feature. The elegant floor-to-ceiling glass bays correspond with the living areas of the homes, providing expansive views, and are juxtaposed with punched window openings in the bedroom areas of the homes. A highly articulated metal bridge connects The L above the alley to below-grade parking access, as well as providing a unique architectural feature in the overall CityVista composition.
